When a young family of five began to outgrow their modest center-hall colonial, SKM undertook a full renovation — adding square footage and reimagining the existing layout to meet the demands of a growing household.

The priorities were clear: an enlarged kitchen filled with natural light, open to the rest of the first floor; a new side entry and much-needed mudroom for three active kids; and an additional bedroom and bath on the second floor. A formerly unused screened porch was transformed into a generous family room.
