House on a Hill
Sited on a picturesque six-acre lot near Lake Waramaug, the new main house was designed to create a cohesive compound with the existing garage and pool house.
The single-story, 3,500-square-foot residence is composed of a series of gabled volumes that greet visitors as they approach along a long, sloping driveway. At the heart of the home, soaring cathedral ceilings with exposed oak-clad beams and expansive glass walls frame sweeping views in all directions. The open kitchen, dining, and living areas flow seamlessly to a screened porch, blurring the line between indoors and out. Gas fireplaces lend warmth to the otherwise modern, minimal interior.
The main floor includes a generous primary suite with a private patio and office, along with two additional en-suite bedrooms — making the home equally suited for family living or hosting overnight guests.
The lower level includes a wine room and exercise space.
